The Vegas Vortex is invested in creating family-friendly events, in safe and sacred space. Together, we embark on journeys of transformation through purification, temperance, and sustained creative engagement. While we understand that the use of alcohol and other substances may be a part of an individual’s spiritual practice, our intention is that the adventures that we create are substance-free. The interactive, improvisational nature of our events is best served by a crystal-clear, attentive and open participation that is unaffected by mind-altering substances. Toward this end, inebriated individuals may be asked to depart. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.
We hold the following events each year.
May Fire – held in MAY at the Temple of Goddess Spirituality in Indian Springs, NV. A 3-day gathering with all-night AlchemiFire Rituals, playshops, community building, and lots of hanging out together… Please note, this is our ONE event each year that is intended for “Initiates” only, in order that we may all dive deeper into our transformational experience. An Initiate is someone who has attended a Vortex event before, or an associated Alchemical Fire Circle Ritual such as Fires Rising or Illumination.
Fall Fest – held in OCTOBER, including BoneDance – an all-night fire circle at the Temple of Goddess Spirituality in Indian Springs. See www.sekhmettemple.org for more info about the Temple and other rituals held there year round.
Anyone who is planning to attend one of our full weekend fire circle events *must* register online and pay their fees promptly.
You Are Invited
Would you like to enhance your spiritual experience? At our Alchemical Fire Circles, we drum, dance, chant, practice rituals, and much more. During the day, a wide variety of spiritual workshops are offered. At night, we light the fire, which burns until after sunrise. A space is created for magic to happen, always different and new, growing out of what we bring to it each night. The Alchemical Fire Circle is a rare and precious jewel-experience, going through the dark night together, and being touched by the kiss of sun at dawn.
Our Alchemical Fire Circles happen in and around Las Vegas, and all over the world . There is a sweet smell of incense, plenty of good food and clean water. This is a place where beauty incarnates. We also have an incredible amount of fun.
Who comes to Alchemical Fire Circles? Social workers, doctors, musicians, spiritual leaders, scientists, people of many backgrounds, races, and religions. We’ve all found something in common: a safe container to explore creative expression, intensive meditation, focused awareness, and spontaneous music.
