Welcome to our offerings for this year’s Fall Fest and Harvest Homecoming! As different features and events become part of the lineup, that info will be added to this page.
There is no registration fee for Fall Fest as a whole, but we would like people to register for the various events so we can communicate updates and details. Please read carefully about each event as they occur at different locations, dates, and times and may have different registration and prices. You can attend some or all of these events.
BONEDANCE Saturday, October 28th, 2017
9pm until sunrise at The Goddess Temple in Cactus Springs, NV
This event is free but we invite you to Donate to the Goddess Temple that hosts the event.
Short & Sweet Orientation begins at 10:00pm, then rekindle the spark and honor the ancestors with drumming, chanting, dancing, magic and fire in the desert!
BONEDANCE is a Samhain celebration, an Alchemical Fire Circle Ritual, of drumming, dance, voice and sound. We honor the ancestors, the turning of the wheel, the balance of shadow and light, journeying through the darkness, into the beauty of the morning, fueled by magic and led by Mystery…. Desert Moon Circle will present the Opening for our Circle, and this magic is not to be missed!
Bring your offerings of chants, spoken word or song, your drums, rattles and percussion instruments, photos of your beloved dead for the Altar, plenty of water to drink and some big bottles for the water altar to share, finger foods that don’t need to be refrigerated to share on the food altar, chairs, blankets, a flashlight and warm clothing…Please DO NOT BRING pets, firearms, alcohol or drugs onto this sacred land. The Goddess Temple is about an hour North of Las Vegas. Directions will be provided in the registration confirmation email.
Additional Fall Fest events will be scheduled.
It is our policy that no one will be turned away for lack of funds. We are accepting a limited amount of work exchanges for Vortex sponsored portions of Fall Fest. If interested in work exchange, please read our Work Exchange page.
